GET ON THE WAITLIST FOR ROCKSTAR CAMP

JOYCE'S ROCKSTAR CAMP STORY

WHERE DO YOU LIVE AND WHAT KIND OF WORK DO YOU DO?

I live in Philadelphia, and I am a Certified Coach. These days I'm also a minister, podcast host, and radio personality!Ā

WHAT WAS GOING ON FOR YOU WHEN YOU SAID ā€œYESā€ TO ROCKSTAR CAMP?

I wanted to walk my talk. I often encourage others to take risk, to take a leap of faith, to live life on the edge and end up exactly where they are supposed to be. But what I neglected to do was to give myself that same permission.

I thought if Megan Jo had the audacity to create a place where I could be free and live on the edge on purpose then this was the atmosphere, the safe haven, the place I needed to be.

Ā

HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER THE SHOW?

Intentional, Zesty, and Life Giving.

WHAT DID YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS OF YOURSELF?

Freedom, Purpose, and Joy.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST IMPACTFUL SHIFT FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE IN ROCKSTAR CAMP?

I am fiercely on purpose and I know I have a message to bring to the world. I have began building my healing and fitness practice to help and inspire other women to heal from trauma, experience beauty, to embrace joy and to live alive!

HOW WAS ROCKSTAR CAMP DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TRAININGS YOU'VE DONE?Ā

The whole journeyĀ helped to pull back layers of hiding. It got me and my sisters to the core of who we are and who we are meant to be. It was very healing, nurturing, and challenging.

WHAT WERE YOU FEELING IN THE MOMENTS BEFOREĀ GETTING ON STAGE TO SING?

"Oh Snap! I really am crazy!" I felt like a crazy bad ass. Crazy enough to believe in myself. I was also thinking that hey I finally found my people, my sisters, and my strength having them.

WHAT WAS THE EDGIEST PART OF THE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU?

Acknowledging that I have been limiting myself. Giving myself permission to feel sexy and beautiful.

WHAT WAS THE MOST FUN AND FULFILLING?

When I walked out on that stage and had the support of the band, my coach, and the audience cheering and giving me permission to act out.

(Oh also when I was given the challenge to pleasure myself at a local restaurant. šŸ˜Š)

WHAT WAS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE MOMENTS?

I wish I could send the picture of me at the restaurant, which I plan to come back and visit. Wine, Cheese tray, and me exploring my inner woman. It all came together.

I had performed. The day after the show, I realized I was free and in love with myself. I felt lighter and beautiful and I loved it and embraced it.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THE WOMEN WHO ARE CONSIDERING ROCKSTAR CAMP?

Get ready to love you on another level, to experience inner beauty and the clearly see the beauty in others. Get ready to have your thoughts filtered with love and acceptance. You deserve it!
